About

Boulé (aka Chris Beale) has been a firm favourite amongst South Coast clubbers for over 7 years now, with residencies Southampton, appearances in clubs along the coast and London, plus national and international festivals.

Boulé’s first break arrived through his work for the now defunct Rhino club and their spearheading Saturday night party, Release. This in turn led to a residency for the South’s leading underground house music brand, High Tide, playing at their boat parties, garden parties and warehouse events. As his following grew Boulé was invited to perform at both of Southampton’s dance music nightclubs, Junk and Switch, with regular appearances booked in each year.

His local success led to invites to perform at venues such as Cargo (London) for Hat Club, Egg (London) and Halo (Bournemouth), plus festival appearances at Blissfields & Soundclash. Requests from foreign shores were also received with sets at Soundwave Festival (Croatia), Spa (Belgium) and the Pukka Up boats in Ibiza.

Some of the names Boulé has performed alongside include Tensnake, Amine Edge & Dance, Steve Lawler, Duke Dumont, Joris Voorn, Claude von StrokeJustin Martin, Jesse Rose, Julio Bashmore, Bondax, Lee Foss and many more.

Boulé is is now looking ahead to push his dance floor grooves across the country and beyond, with a first wave of productions due at the end of the year.

“Southampton-based DJ Boule – aka Chris Beale – is our latest DJ of the Week, with just a few weeks left until BPM 2015 kicks off! Beating some tough competition, Boule’s mix opens with tinkering bleeps and soulful vocals, moving into the isolated bassline of a pulsing Queen remix and some entrancing deep-house vibes embellished by smooth sounding jazz organs. Solid house beats drive home a laid-back but danceable set, but it’s the funky basslines and old-school disco elements that make this feel-good mix our worthy winner this week!” BPM PLAY stage hosts.
